Hi!
I created some variables and applied them to the element but it shows me 0, is it possible to show me 177.5 without the round formula (178)?
Thanks
quick workaround (not suitable for further calcukating but only for showing value)
if var1 is 1.33
and var2 is (var1-trunc(var1))*100
then %var1%.%var2% will show 1.33
PS. can’t open https://ibb.co/bHmq2cv
Thank you very much for this question. I think many people will find it useful as it shows additional functions in the element description.
For those who didn’t know, element variables can be used in the description.
However, we cannot do arithmetic operations in that field. If there is a need for this, introduce an additional variable, do the math in it, and then transfer its value to the description field.
Additionally, if you want to round the result to the nearest number, use the “round” function. To round to a smaller number, use the “floor” function, and to round to a larger number, use “ceil”.
Thanks! working perfect
You cannot insert images into comments. Use the answers, images can be inserted there.
“Floor”, “Ceil” and “Rund” are functions.
They are used in the form of a function (expression).
For example:
round (125/56) or
floor(var1/12) etc.
I can’t add the picture in commend and I attached a link with it.. I used “ceil” correct?
